Store Policies 

 Effective December 10th, 2009

Sales:

      Used Merchandise:  All sales are FINAL, no returns, no refunds, and no warranty period, unless otherwise specified, and agreed upon during the time of transaction.  Some used PC systems may already have Microsoft Windows Operating Systems pre-installed, or other software that has been pre-installed.  The purchaser of these systems assumes all responsibility of any and all installed Microsoft operating systems or other software.  Although TOTL Computing reformats all used PC systems before resale, TOTL Computing will not be held responsible for any said software, or data, which is left on the machine by the previous owner(s).

      New Merchandise:  Refunds are granted for a period of 30 days.  There will be a 15% restocking fee applied to all returns, for any reason, with the exception of defective merchandise, (shipping, all services including labor, and Software purchases are non-refundable).  All Merchandise must be returned in a re-sellable condition (all parts, manuals, cords, etc.), and in original packaging in order to qualify for a refund.  All New Merchandise comes with a 90-day warranty that is provided by the manufacturer, unless otherwise specified. Although TOTL Computing does not buy any used or new equipment from the public, when purchasing a new DELL Personal Computer system, or DELL Business system, you may opt to trade in your old system towards the purchase price of the new one. 

Services:

• Labor - Offsite:  $75.00 per hour, rounded to the nearest hour.
• Labor – Onsite:  $75.00 per hour, rounded to the nearest hour, plus ½ drive time
• Web Site setup:  $120.00 one time initial fee.  (First year registration fee waived)
• Web Site Development:  $60.00 per hour (customer) $120 per hour (non customer)
• Hosting: 
•      $27.50 Per Year Registration renewal (required if you do not already have a domain name registered).
•      $9.95 per month personal or non-profit.
•      $9.95 - $24.95 per month business. 
•      Multiple site discounts apply. 

Store Credit:

      No credit will be extended to anyone unless they are a local business with a valid business license.  Federal TAX Identification is required to qualify.  All credit payments are due within 30 days of purchase otherwise a service charge of 2.0% per month (24% APR) will be applied to your account on any remaining balances, minimum charge $2.50. 

Layaway:

1. A down payment of at least 20% of the purchase price is required.
2. Payoff of entire amount within 90 days of said sale is required, otherwise TOTL Computing will refund paid amount minus a 15% cancellation fee.  Sale is then voided.
3. Remaining balances after 30 days are subject to a service fee of 2.0% per month (24% APR), minimum charge $2.50
4. Cancellation of layaway – TOTL Computing will refund paid amount, minus a 15% cancellation fee.

Payment Methods:

     Payment is expected at time of services are completed.  Personal Computers, Printers, and other computer related peripherals may be held at TOTL Computing until all payments are collected.  TOTL Computing reserves the rights to sell, dismantle, or otherwise dispose of any said Personal Computers, Printers, and other related peripherals left here and not paid for after 90 days.  Cash, Credit Cards and Local checks are acceptable payment methods.  We will not accept, two party checks, or money orders.  All payments can be made at the store location, by phone for credit card transactions, or by mail.  There is a $25 returned check fee, plus any other bank fees that are charged to TOTL Computing for returned checks.

 Privacy:

     TOTL Computing may collect personal information from you during any transaction.  Personal information may include your name, address, and telephone number, as well as other information pertaining to you, or to your personal computer.  TOTL Computing will not rent, sell, or otherwise make available this information to anyone for any reason other than by court order or subpoena, or similar legal request or otherwise, on the advice of counsel.

 Confidentiality: 

     In the course of daily business, TOTL Computing staff members may review material (files, pictures, databases, etc.) that is located on your computers hard drive.  TOTL Computing will make every effort possible to keep this information confidential, and will not disclose, nor make available to anyone for any reason other than by court order or subpoena, or similar legal request or otherwise, on the advice of counsel.

TOTL Computing will NOT sell, make illegal copies of, or install any Microsoft Software in violation of its End User License Agreements.
